Pages here are written from general, durable knowledge about the subject and reviewed before publication. Where a claim would depend on a specific authority, the page says so in plain words rather than dressing an estimate up as a fact. The tool on the home page runs entirely in your browser: nothing you type into it is stored or sent anywhere, and there are no analytics scripts or third-party trackers on this site.
